MSI has released a new line of motherboards that includes four X870 and X870E chip-based models for AMD's flagship Ryzen 9000 processors. The MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE model is the flagship of the series. It is equipped with a 27-phase power subsystem ?24+2+1? and built on the basis of SPS-modules with a current of 110A. Frozr Guard cooling system is provided, which includes a massive radiator, copper heat pipe and thermal pads with thermal conductivity of 90 W/mK. Additionally, the novelty is equipped with a 4.99-inch LCD screen for displaying key information about the device operation. The board also has a pair of PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and five M.2 slots, two of which have PCIe 5.0 support. The Realtek ALC4082 audio codec is responsible for the audio. The lineup also includes MSI MPG X870E CARBON WIFI model with 21-phase VRM with ?18+2+1? scheme based on SPS-modules (110 A) and the same Frozr Guard cooling system as the top model. The board has one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and four M.2 slots. MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI version is equipped with a 17-phase power supply based on SPS modules with 80A current, a simplified version of the cooling system (no heat pipe), and the thermal conductivity of the gaskets is 7W/mK. Other features include a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and four M.2 slots. Finally, the MSI PRO X870-P WIFI has a 17-phase VRM with 60A SPS modules, a simplified cooling system like the previous model, just one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, one M.2 PCIe 5.0 slot and two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots. All models in the lineup support Wi-Fi ![]() ![]() ![]() The price and date of MSI's new products are not yet known. |
