MSI has introduced a 27-inch gaming monitor with Rapid IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..matrix and Mini-LED backlight. It can run at 160/320Hz refresh rates and matches professional monitors in terms of color reproduction. There are also several AI features and RGB backlighting on the rear panel.

The MSI 274URDFW E16M screen can operate in two modes: with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 160Hz, and with 1920x1080 and 320Hz respectively. The matrix has 1152 zones of local dimming, 100% covers the DCI-P3 standard, 98% - Adobe RGB and 140% - sRGB. At the same time, the ΔE does not exceed two units and the response time is 0.5 ms.

The monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR 1000 compliant and has several AI gaming features like AI Crosshair floating crosshair and AI Vision dark area illumination. There's also automatic adjustment of brightness, contrast, and other settings.

Wired interfaces include DisplayPort 1.4a, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-CWith the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors. with support for 98W fast charging. There's also a KVM switch and customizable Mystic Light RGB lighting on the back with 44 LEDs, working with Windows Dynamic Lighting.

No price or on-sale date has been announced yet.
