MSI has added a new gamer monitor MAG 321CUPDF to its product catalog. Its main feature is the combination of a curved screen with the ability to choose between two resolution and refresh rate presets for a different gaming experience.

The new product features a 31.5-inch VA display with a curvature index of 1500R and 4K resolution at a refresh rate of 160Hz. For cyber sports games, it can switch to 1080p @ 320 Hz to improve the smoothness of the image. Among other characteristics of the model, the manufacturer highlights the wide color gamut (97% DCI-P3, 136% sRGB and 93% Adobe RGB). The declared response time of the panel is 0.5 ms (GtG).

The novelty has passed VESA Display HDR400 certification, and in SDR mode the maximum backlight brightness is 350 nits. The set of interfaces includes two HDMI 2.1 connectors, as well as DisplayPort 1.4a and USB Type-CWith the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors.
