MSI has released two monitors with new OLED-matrixes made by Samsung - on quantum dots of the third generation. They also have their own neural processor and a built-in camera.

MSI MAG 271QR X50 received a 27-inch 10-bit Samsung QD-OLED matrix with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 500 Hz. To OLED-screen does not burn out as long as possible, the novelty has a protection technology based on a built-in camera and NPU: scanning the space in front of the monitor every 0.2 seconds, the novelty analyzes the presence of the user in front of the monitor. If there is none, the screen will turn off or adjust settings to improve energy efficiency.

The monitor also features a response time of 0.03 ms, supports DisplayHDR True Black 500, VESA ClearMR 21000 and HDR. Peak brightness at 10 percent pixels enabled is 500 nits, at 3 percent - 1000 nits. From the interfaces there is HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, Type-C connector with 15W power and a 3.5mm port for headphones. In addition, there is an anti-glare layer and a stand with height, tilt and swivel adjustment.

The second new product - MAG 272QP X50 - is different in that it does not have a camera and NPU to control the presence of a person in front of the monitor. Both models are covered by a three-year warranty against display burn-in.
