MSI released a low-cost gamer 2K monitor with 240Hz screen and a set of gaming features

msi-mag-271qp-x24-

MSI has a new gaming monitor MAG 271QP X24 in its range. The device is equipped with a QD-OLED panel manufactured by Samsung Display, a wide range of ports and support for gaming technologies. At the same time, the novelty is estimated at less than $700.

The 27-inch monitor screen has a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, 240 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1000 nits, contrast ratio of 1,500,000 to 1 and 16:9 aspect ratio. It's also claimed to cover 98% of the Adobe RGB color gamut, 99% of DCI-P3, and 138% of sRGB. And OLEDOLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. OLEDs have a great picture quality - brilliant colors, fast response rate and a wide viewing angle. OLEDs can also be used to make OLED lighting - thin, efficient and without any bad metals.Care 2.0 technology protects the screen from burn-in, extending its lifespan.

The new product features VESA Adaptive-Sync technology and a response time of only 0.03 ms (GtG). The manufacturer has provided a DisplayPort 1.4a port, a pair of HDMI 2.1 outputs and a 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity. In addition, the monitor received a customizable stand and support for VESA 100x100 mm wall mount.

The MSI MAG 271QP X24 will cost $680.
