MediaTek's Kompanio Ultra 910 branded chip has appeared in its product catalog. The new SoC is positioned as a power-efficient model with AI computing support, oriented for use in performance Chromebooks.
MediaTek Kompanio Ultra 910 is manufactured using TSMC's second-generation 3nm process. The chip is based on an 8-core CPU CPU is the abbreviation for central processing unit (the processor). The CPU is the brains of the computer where most calculations take place. with one ?big? core Cortex-X925 (3.62 GHz), three Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720. For graphics capabilities is responsible for 11-core ?embedded? Immortalis-G925 MC11 with support for ray tracing technology.
According to the manufacturer, in combination with 12 MB of L3 cache memory and 10 MB of system cache (SLC), the novelty provides stable single- and multi-threaded performance in various games and applications.
Kompanio Ultra 910 supports Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is a type of wireless networking protocol that allows devices to communicate without cords or cables. Wi-Fi is technically an industry term that represents a type of wireless local area network (LAN) protocol based on the 802.11 IEEE network standard. It is the most popular means of communicating data wirelessly, within a fixed location, today. 7 (up to 7.3 Gbps) and Bluetooth 6.0 standards, as well as LPDDR5X-8533 RAM Random Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor.. Another feature of the chip is a built-in NPU with performance up to 50 TOPS.
The novelty provides the ability to connect up to three 4K displays to the notebook, decode and encode 4K video (HEVC, AVC, VP9 and AV1) and support for Hi-Fi Audio DSP technology. Which laptops will be the first to receive the new processor is not yet known.
