MediaTek has announced the release date for its new generation Dimensity flagship processor. A teaser was posted on the manufacturer's official Weibo account. The premiere of the new product will take place on September 22. The company has not yet disclosed the specifications of the new SoC, nor its official name. According to rumors, it will be the Dimensity 9500 model, manufactured using a 3nm process. If unofficial publications are to be believed, the chip will retain the same core configuration (1+3+4) as the Dimensity 9400. Major improvements are expected in terms of the graphics processor and NPU. The release date for the first Dimensity 9500-based smartphones is still unknown, but according to a reliable insider, Digital Chat Station, the vivo X300 series smartphones will be among the first to receive this chip. |
