New details about the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship processor have appeared online. According to the latest information, the chip will have an increased frequency and will be on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 in terms of technical specifications. Earlier, information appeared that the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 would operate at a frequency of up to 3.23 GHz. According to the new data, this will be the company's first chip with a frequency above 4 GHz. It is also reported that it will have an eight-core structure with one super-powerful core, three with lower frequencies, and four simpler cores. The graphics will be handled by ARM's Immortalis GPU. The chip's performance will reach 100 TOPS (trillion operations per second). Like Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, MediaTek's new flagship processor will be built using TSMC's third-generation 3nm N3P process technology. The chip is expected to be unveiled no earlier than September, and the first devices to feature it are expected to be the flagship smartphones of the vivo X300 and OPPO Find X9 series. |
