The company has announced the launch of LPCAMM2 laptop memory modules with an impressive effective frequency of 8533 MT/s. The proprietary modules ensure high speed performance of portable PCs while maintaining compact dimensions. The company claims that compared to classic SO-DIMM modules, LPCAMM2 modules using LPDDR5X chips take up 64% less space inside a laptop and are up to 58% more energy efficient. Crucial currently produces new types of modules with a capacity of up to 64 GB, which are usually only found in ready-made laptops. According to company representatives, in 2026, the company plans to introduce even faster solutions (up to 9600 MT/s). |
