Lian Li has introduced a new family of SX Series power supplies, which includes models with 850, 1000, and 1200 W of power, designed for modern systems. All models are 80 Plus Platinum certified and claim up to 92% efficiency. The manufacturer is focusing on stable power delivery and broad compatibility with next-generation components. The new power supplies are fully compliant with the Intel ATX 3.1 specification and feature a native PCIe Gen 5.1 12V-2x6 connector that can deliver up to 600W directly to the graphics card. This eliminates the need for adapters and ensures proper operation with new GPUs. For the 1000- and 1200-watt models, an adapter from 12V-2x6 to dual 6+2 PCIe is provided for connecting additional equipment. Cooling is provided by a 120mm fan on an FDB bearing that supports Zero RPM mode. It can be turned on or off with a separate button on the case ? the fan either runs continuously or turns on when a certain temperature is reached. Inside, Japanese capacitors rated for 105 ?C and a high-current +12 V line are used, which increases reliability and power stability under high loads. The case has been redesigned with embossed mesh and a fully modular cable system with flexible braiding, which simplifies cable management inside the case. The units feature a full set of protections (OPP, OVP, SCP, OCP, OTP, UVP, SIP, NLP), which reduces the risk of damage to components in unforeseen situations. The manufacturer is confident in the durability of the series and provides a ten-year warranty. The Lian Li SX Series power supplies are now available: SX0850P for $119.99, SX1000P for $149.99, and SX1200P for $159.99. Only black versions are available at this time, with white versions to follow later. |
