At the K-Display 2025 exhibition, LG showed off a bunch of its new stuff. One of the most interesting new products from the South Korean brand was a monitor with an OLEDOLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. OLEDs have a great picture quality - brilliant colors, fast response rate and a wide viewing angle. OLEDs can also be used to make OLED lighting - thin, efficient and without any bad metals.display and a refresh rate that's impressive even by esports standards.

The 27-inch monitor display operates by default in 1440p @ 540 Hz mode at a resolution of 1440p, but can be overclocked to 720 Hz when the resolution is reduced to 1080p. Among other features of the matrix, the company highlights a wide color gamut (99.5% P3) and peak brightness of up to 1500 cd/m².

According to LG, the monitor's specifications significantly improve image clarity in dynamic gaming scenes, which is considered critical for esports disciplines. The company has not disclosed any other details about the model, including its retail price and release date.
