Details about the new version of Lenovo Legion Y700 tablet, aimed at gamers, have appeared in the network. Data about the device reported a reliable insider with the nickname Digital Chat Station, known for the high accuracy of publications about the novelties of Chinese electronics.

According to the informant, the gadget will be equipped with an 8.8-inch IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..screen with a resolution of 3K and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The basis of the tablet will be a flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Elite. For comparison - the current model is based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

For the autonomy of the novelty, according to the source, will be responsible for the battery capacity of 7000 to 8000 mAh, and for audio capabilities - a pair of built-in speakers. The design features of the device are already known - the company has released official teasers with its image on both sides.

The Legion Y700 is expected to premiere in May this year, the price of the tablet is not yet known.
