Another new product from Keychron is the M5 8K mouse, which combines the functions of gaming and office models. Its peculiarity lies in the vertical design of the body, which supports the natural position of the user's hand.

At the heart of the M5 8K is a PixArt 3950 sensor with up to 30,000 dpi, and a 600mAh battery. There are also separate buttons for changing DPI and polling rate without the need to launch special software. The mouse supports two ways of connection: via Bluetooth and via USB Type-CWith the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors. cable (polling rate up to 8000 Hz).

The proprietary Keychron Launcher utility allows you to reassign buttons, create macros, and fine-tune DPI steps and other sensor parameters (bounce distance, angle lock, and motion synchronization).

The weight of Keychron M5 8K is 95 grams. Another feature of the model is the case without TPU overlays, which can lose their original appearance over time. The price of the novelty in the USA is $69.
