Jonsbo has released a compact case for a home server with 9 HDD drives |

The Chinese company Jonsbo has added the N6 computer case to its product catalog, designed for building a home server. It combines compact dimensions (305 x 353 x 318 mm) with decent capacity: in addition to the main set of hardware, it can accommodate up to nine 3.5-inch hard drives. The upper part of the case accommodates a Mini ITX or Micro ATX motherboard, a video card up to 320 mm long, a cooler up to 160 mm high, and an ATX power supply (up to 220 mm). The latter can be installed at different mounting points: in the front or rear of the top panel or in the rear of the bottom panel. Two 120 mm fans are used to cool the HDD. Optionally, up to five more of the same fans can be mounted in the case, and there is space on the front panel for mounting a 240 mm AIO radiator. The 7.5 kg case is made of steel and complemented by a wooden insert that houses USB ports and a headphone jack. The list of features is rounded out by hot-swappable drives and the ability to create RAID arrays. The price and release date of the Jonsbo N6 will be announced later. |
