A month after its release in China, the global release of the iQOO 15 gaming flagship took place. The manufacturer is betting on a bright display with a high refresh rate, top-of-the-line hardware, and a high-capacity battery with fast charging. All this is complemented by RGB lighting and proprietary gaming features. The smartphone features a 6.85-inch Samsung M14 OLED Inside is a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, complemented by a proprietary Q3 gaming chip, which is responsible for increasing frame rates, reducing latency, and improving image quality. A large vapor chamber is provided to prevent overheating. A 7000 mAh silicon battery with support for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging is responsible for autonomy. The rear camera unit consists of three 50-megapixel modules: a wide-angle lens with a Sony IMX921 sensor, a telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and an ultra-wide lens. A 32-megapixel front camera is located in a small notch at the front. The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 (Android 16) and will receive five major OS updates and seven years of security patches. |
