Intel Compares the Ultra 7 270K Plus and Ultra 250K to Competitors

Intel has published the results of a comparison of the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Ultra 250K processors with their ?red? competitors and several of its own chips. At least on paper, everything looks impressive?according to the vendor, the new chips outperform their rivals at a comparable retail price.

First, the company compared the processors in games. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus was pitted against the Core Ultra 7 265K, Core i7-14700K, Core i9-14900K, AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, and even the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. The results of internal testing are as follows:

The company also demonstrated the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus's benchmark results against the Ryzen 7 9700X:

in multi-threaded performance: up to a 92% increase
in the SPECWorkstation benchmark: up to 197% increase
overall computing power: up to 6.9 times greater

At the same time, Intel briefly discussed the capabilities of the Core Ultra 250K chip:
An average 13% increase in gaming performance compared to the Core Ultra 5 245K

Up to 130% increase in 3D rendering performance compared to the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X (+19% in video editing, +8% in photo editing, +75% in video export, +103% in multi-threaded performance, +5% in single-threaded performance)
The MSRP for the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor in the U.S. is $299, and for the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, it is $199.
