The results of testing of Intel Core Ultra 5 245HX mobile chip have appeared in the network, which showed unexpected results in comparison with its ?big brother?. In the PassMark benchmark it outperformed its desktop version in terms of performance. According to the published test results, the Intel Core Ultra 5 245HX earned 4,709 and 41,045 points in the single- and multi-threaded discipline, respectively. For comparison - the result of Core Ultra 5 245 in the same benchmark is 4,409 and 37,930 points. Thus, the average performance level of the mobile chip was 7% higher. In addition, Core Ultra 5 245HX confidently outperformed its predecessors, being 19 and 30% faster than Intel Core i5-14500 when loaded on one and all cores, and the difference with mobile Core i5-14500HX is even more significant: 30% faster in single-threaded mode and 41% faster in multi-threaded mode. At the same time the chip surpassed in both disciplines the flagship AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is considered to be one of the best CPUs for games. The specifications of the novelty are as follows: maximum clock frequency of 5.1 GHz, 6 P-core and eight E-core, power limit in turbo mode - up to 160 W versus 121 W of the desktop version. |
