HUAWEI held a major event in Paris, where it unveiled updates in several device categories. The main focus was on wearable electronics: the WATCH GT 6, WATCH Ultimate 2, and WATCH D2 smartwatches were presented. In addition, the company announced the global release of gadgets previously available only in China. The WATCH GT 6 series has improved capabilities for outdoor sports. The watches support more than 100 training modes, including advanced scenarios for cyclists, skiers, and cross-country runners. A virtual power meter for cycling training stands out, allowing you to do without additional equipment. The watch is also equipped with a precise positioning system and can operate without recharging for up to 21 days. The WATCH Ultimate 2 is the brand's first smartwatch with the ability to dive to a depth of 150 meters and a sonar-based underwater communication function that allows you to exchange messages and transmit SOS signals. The WATCH D2 model is aimed at users who need to monitor their blood pressure: the device can take one-off measurements and remind users to check their blood pressure regularly. The company also announced the global release of the nova 14 series of camera smartphones. For work and study, the MatePad 12 X tablet was unveiled, featuring a PaperMatte screen and support for the M-Pencil Pro stylus. FreeBuds 7i wireless headphones will also be available outside of China. The new black HUAWEI Watch Ultimate 2 is priced at around $1,078, while the blue version is priced at $1,212. The WATCH GT 6 series will cost $309, and the WATCH GT 6 Pro will cost $443. |
