HUAWEI has launched a new Smart Screen S6 TV. The model is available in four versions with a diagonal from 55 to 85 inches and in comparison with the previous generation received an improved Mini-LED backlight, as well as higher brightness and contrast. The TV screen has a refresh rate of 266Hz, a peak brightness of 1000 nits and 130% BT.709 color gamut coverage. The number of local dimming zones varies depending on the screen diagonal: 128 zones for the 55-inch model, 176 zones for the 65-inch model, 260 zones for the 75-inch model and 320 zones for the 85-inch model. Also announced are special backlight control algorithms, ultra-high resolution SR technology and HarmonyOS with AI features for enhanced movie search: by plot description, actors and even replicas.
