HUAWEI has unveiled a new version of its unique Mate XTs foldable smartphone, which remains the only triple foldable device on the market. The gadget has retained the concept of its predecessor, but has received updated hardware and an expanded color palette. Externally, the Mate XTs looks the same as last year's model, but now, in addition to red and black, white and purple options are available. The screen hasn't changed ? it's a 10.2-inch LTPO OLED ![]() The main update affected the hardware. At its core is a new Kirin 9020 octa-core processor, manufactured using a 7nm process. The manufacturer claims that it provides up to 36% performance gain compared to its predecessor. The smartphone is equipped with 16 GB of RAM ![]() The cameras remain unchanged: the main 50 MP module with a variable aperture of ƒ/1.4?4.0 and optical stabilization is complemented by a 40 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens with 5.5x optical zoom. A 5600 mAh battery with support for 66W wired charging is responsible for autonomy. Wireless (50W) and reverse charging are also announced. The Mate XTs runs on the new HarmonyOS 5.1 operating system and is positioned as a universal device capable of replacing a tablet and even a laptop. Accessories are available for this purpose, including the M-Pen 3 stylus and a foldable keyboard. |
