HUAWEI has added its first Mate-branded smart TV to its product range. The Mate Smart TV is equipped with a giant 110-inch mini-LED panel, a proprietary Kirin chip, and support for three control methods. The 4K TV screen is capable of delivering a maximum brightness of 5000 nits and displaying 91% of the BT.2020 color gamut for accurate color reproduction. The Mate Smart TV's performance is powered by a Kirin 9020 chip, complemented by 12 GB of RAM ![]() The TV can be controlled in three ways: with a remote control, a stylus, or a large trackpad with swipe, tap, and gesture recognition, including ?air touches.? The manufacturer has also included a 50-megapixel camera with AI-powered face recognition for personalizing settings and content. The 3.2.2-channel HUAWEI Sound speaker system is responsible for the audio. There is also support for cross-platform data exchange with HUAWEI smartphones and tablets based on HarmonyOS NEXT. The HUAWEI Mate Smart TV will cost $9,600. Sales of the TV will start before the end of 2025 in the Chinese market. |
