The company HUAWEI announced Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition - a new flagship smartphone with one almost imperceptible difference from the usual model Pro. Despite the name, the novelty will cost noticeably less than the standard ?proka?. The difference is in the processor: the new model has the same Kirin 9020, but with reduced clock speed: the first and second cluster of cores are slower by 100 and 150 MHz respectively. The chip layout looks like this: ?1 + 3 + 4? with frequencies of 2.4, 2 and 1.6 GHz respectively. Whereas in the Mate 70 Pro, the first cluster is overclocked to 2.5GHz, while the second cluster is overclocked to 2.15GHz. This is probably done to improve battery life. The Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition runs HarmonyOS NEXT and gets a 6.9-inch OLED ![]() Pricing looks like this: 12/256 - $850 ($49 cheaper than the Mate 70 Pro) 12/512 - $960 ($9 cheaper) 12GB and 1TB - $1055 ($50 cheaper) |
