A few days before the official presentation, details about the new Honor 200 series smartphones have appeared online. Thanks to the leak, almost all the specifications of both the base and Pro versions of the device became known. According to the new data, the Honor 200 Pro will get a 6.78-inch OLEDOLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is specified as the processor. The battery capacity will be 5200 mAh and it will support 100-watt wired and 66-watt wireless charging. The smartphone will have a dual selfie camera with a 50MP main module and a 2MP depth sensor. At the back, there will be a 50MP wide-angle camera (OmniVision OV50H), a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50MP telephoto (Sony IMX856) with 2x optical zoom. The regular Honor 200 is credited with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Enhanced Version processor, one 50MP front camera, a 50MP main module with another Sony IMX906 sensor, and otherwise the smartphone will be similar to the "prodka". Except that the base model will not have wireless and reverse charging. Honor recently announced that the global launch of the new smartphones will follow the presentation on May 27 in China. |
