HMD and Lava to introduce TV-enabled phones |

HMD in partnership with Lava will launch TV-enabled phones. The devices will be unveiled at the Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 event from May 1-4. According to insiders, such a phone will feature Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) technology, which, in conjunction with an ultra-high frequency (UHF) antenna, will allow it to receive a signal and stream multimedia content without the need for a cellular or wireless connection. Other key specifications of the device include a special Saankhya Labs SL3000 chip, MediaTek MT6261 platform, 2000 mAh battery and a screen diagonal of only 2.8 inches. |
