Hisense has announced the world debut of the 116UX TV. The new product features a giant 116-inch Mini-LED backlit screen, a powerful sound system and support for a variety of picture enhancement technologies. The TV is equipped with a 4K resolution screen, peak brightness up to 8000 nits, 165Hz refresh rate, which can reach 288Hz (1080p) in gaming mode, and Mini-LED backlighting. Claimed 95% BT.2020 color gamut coverage, support for Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, Filmmaker Mode, low-latency mode and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro compatibility. The sound is handled by Devialet's built-in 6.2.2-channel audio system. The US market version of the TV has Google TV OS with Google Assistant and Google Cast support, while the European version is powered by Vidaa OS with Vidaa Voice, Amazon Alexa and Apple AirPlay. The new Hisense 116UX costs $25,000 in the US or ?30,000 in Europe. |
