Along with its flagship Pixel 10 smartphones, Google unveiled the fourth generation of its Pixel Watch smartwatch. The accessory retains the signature design of its predecessors and is available in two sizes. The main focus of the new model was on improving battery life.
The device retains two case sizes ? 41 and 45 mm. At the same time, the bezels around the screen have been significantly reduced. The display brightness has increased to 3000 nits, which will allow you to comfortably use the watch even in direct sunlight.
The main change in the design is the new docking station, which now positions the watch on its side. This format allows the device to charge 25% faster and be used as a bedside clock with an updated interface. Battery life has also increased: the 41 mm version works for up to 30 hours with the screen constantly on, and the 45 mm model for up to 40 hours. For comparison, the previous generation offered a maximum of 24 hours.
The feature set includes more than 40 types of workouts, ECG and SpO2 sensors, respiratory rate and heart rate detection, and dual-band GPS The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of at least 24 satellites. GPS works in any weather conditions, anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, with no subscription fees or setup charges. The U.S. Department of Defense (USDOD) originally put the satellites into orbit for military use, but they were made available for civilian use in the 1980s.. for accurate location tracking. In terms of software, the watch will receive an updated Material 3 Expressive-style interface and will be integrated into the Gemini ecosystem.
The Pixel Watch 4 will be available in five colors: Obsidian (black), Lemon (gold), Moonstone (gray), Silver/Iris (silver with a purple strap), and Silver/Porcelain (silver with a beige strap). Prices remain the same as last year's models: $349 for 41 mm with Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is the name of a popular wireless networking technology that uses radio waves to provide wireless high-speed Internet and network connections.
