GMKtec has revealed a new proprietary mini-PC called EVO-T1. It is equipped with a high-performance processor capable of running AI models locally, and if desired, the device can be ?pumped up? with the help of an external video card. Besides, the compact case of the novelty has found a place for a decent set of modern interfaces. GMKtec EVO-T1 is positioned as a compact computer for working with local language models or other resource-intensive tasks. The hardware platform is based on a 16-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor with a neuromodule and Arc 140T ?embedded?. The total claimed performance of the chip in AI-related scenarios is 99 TOPS (Int 8). For example, the DeepSeek-V2 R1 model with 32 billion parameters can be run locally on a mini-PC at a speed of 15 tokens per second. You can improve the performance with an external graphics card by connecting it to the OCuLink port.
