GIGABYTE has officially unveiled the AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX, the first external liquid-cooled graphics system based on the GeForce RTX 5090. The device uses NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and a Thunderbolt 5 interface, allowing ultra-thin laptops to compete with desktop PCs. With a single cable, users get top-of-the-line graphics and up to 100W of power. This new product is designed for gamers, professionals, and AI enthusiasts. In games, the RTX 5090 delivers maximum performance and DLSS 4 support. For content creators, it accelerates video editing, rendering, and 3D design, and for AI specialists, it offers 32 GB of video memory and over 3000 AI TOPS for local work with LLM, Stable Diffusion, or their own models without sending data to the cloud. Special attention has been paid to cooling. The AORUS WATERFORCE system covers all key components of the graphics card ? from the graphics processor to the video memory and MOSFET. A copper base, 240 mm radiator, pair of 120 mm fans, and optimized pump ensure stable and quiet operation even under load, while also increasing the service life of the components. AI BOX connects to a laptop via Thunderbolt 5, providing up to 80 Gbps bandwidth and 64 Gbps in PCIe Gen4x4 mode. In addition, there are ports for monitors, peripherals, and wired networks ? effectively turning your laptop into a full-fledged gaming station or work machine. The ports include three DP 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, Thunderbolt 5 (one for peripherals, the second for connecting to a PC), one HDMI 2.1, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and one Ethernet. Power is supplied by a built-in 850 W power supply. |
