Galax has announced a new flagship graphics card, the GeForce RTX 5090D Boomstar. According to the company, it is a flagship GPU  GPU-accelerated computing is the use of a graphics processing unit (GPU) together with a CPU to accelerate deep learning, analytics, and engineering applications. for enthusiasts with customizability and simplified maintenance due to its unique design.The key feature of the new product is a unique cooling system with magnetic cooler mounting. Unlike standard designs, the upper part of the casing can be easily removed together with the fans without tools. This greatly simplifies the process of cleaning, thermal paste replacement and video card maintenance without the need for complete disassembly and risk of warranty loss. The graphics card is available in base configuration and factory overclocked to 2452 MHz - 45 MHz above the reference value. The declared TDP is 575W. The graphics card has impressive dimensions (348 x 155 x 60 mm) and occupies three expansion slots. The power subsystem is realized according to the scheme of 16+6+7 phases, and for additional power supply there is a 12V-2x6 connector. Boomstar series cards are distinguished by a rear magnetic plate with the possibility of customization, but for the new RTX 5090D Boomstar has not yet announced the release of interchangeable panels.
