GeForce RTX 4060 is quickly gaining popularity on Steam |
|
Valve regularly conducts surveys of Steam users: the company is interested in the specifications of computers and laptops of its audience. And judging by the latest information, a new king is about to ascend to the throne of the most popular graphics card. As it follows from the statistics published the other day, GeForce RTX 4060 continues to grow in popularity: in May it was used by 2.82% of gamers, and in September already 4.58%. Things are slightly worse for NVIDIA GeForce GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (it was 2.31%, became 3.66%). But NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, the most popular GPUGPU-accelerated computing is the use of a graphics processing unit (GPU) together with a CPU to accelerate deep learning, analytics, and engineering applications. on the platform, is slowly losing ground, although it is still doing well: it is still used by 5.88% of gamers. At the same time, GeForce RTX 1650 is getting lower and lower in the top. This is explained by the constantly growing system requirements of new products: the card barely exceeds the minimum system requirements of Sid Meier's Civilization VII and can't cope with the new God of War: Ragnarök. We can also note the slow but sure rise of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070. In spring it was used by 2.46% of Steam gamers, and by September the figure rose to 2.91%. You can read the whole list (it's quite long!) on the Valve store polls page. There you can also see other statistics, such as users' preferred OS. |
