Chinese company Geekom has announced the first mini computer based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite ARM processor. The device could compete with Apple's new Mac mini. So far, there is only an image of the new computer. It has a compact metal body with a pair of USB Type-A ports, a headphone jack and a power button on the front. There's a memory card slot on the side. No other details about the device have been disclosed yet. Earlier this year, Qualcomm released its own Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered mini-PC, but it was only for developers. In addition, the company has already discontinued its release. The price and release date of the computer from Geekom has not yet been announced. |
