G.Skill has released a set of 256GB high-speed DDR5 modules

G.Skill has unveiled a set of four Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5 memory cards with an atypically large total capacity of 256GB. It is aimed at cyber athletes, AI developers and other professionals. The manufacturer also published screenshots with tests of the kit in several configurations.

The memory modules are based on SK hynix chips and overclocked to 6000 MT/s (CL32). Official images showed that the new product successfully passed the stress test in combination with ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard and AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, as well as in configuration with MSI MPG X870E Carbon WiFi and Ryzen 9 9900X.

In addition, the modules overclocked to 7000 MT/s (CL38-50-50) on the MSI MEG X870E Godlike board with AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D chip. The price and sales launch date of the kit have not been announced yet.
