Fujifilm has unveiled the LiPlay Plus hybrid instant camera. In addition to a built-in printer, the new model has a number of interesting features, including a sound recording function and an additional photo sensor for taking selfies. Instax Sound Print technology allows you to link each printed photo to a three-second audio track, which can be recorded at the time of shooting or added later from other sources via the Instax Mini LiPlay+ mobile app. To listen to the audio, you need to scan the QR code on the printed frame with your smartphone camera. For shooting, the LiPlay Plus is equipped with a main 28 mm autofocus sensor and an additional 23 mm fixed-focus front sensor. There is also the ability to create photo collages, as well as a remote camera control function via the Instax Mini LiPlay app. The photos you take are stored in the LiPlay Plus's internal memory or on an installed microSD card, and there is a 3-inch TFT display for previewing your shots. The Fujifilm Instax LiPlay+ is priced at $234 and will be available in late October 2025 in beige and blue. |
