Framework has released its Laptop 13 Pro, based on the latest Intel Core Ultra platform. Its main advantage over competitors is its modular design, which allows for easy upgrades and repairs. The Framework Laptop 13 Pro is equipped with a 13.5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 2880x1920 pixels, a variable refresh rate of 30?120 Hz, and a brightness of up to 700 cd/m². The laptop is available in configurations with an Intel Core Ultra 5, Core Ultra X7, or Core Ultra X9 processor (AMD versions will be announced later). The amount of LPCAMM2 RAM Battery life is provided by a 74 Wh battery with a claimed lifespan of 1,000 cycles before capacity drops by 20%; the package includes a 100W GaN charger. The laptop weighs 1.4 kg, and the chassis is 15.86 mm thick. The DIY version is priced starting at $1,199 in the U.S. market, while the pre-built version starts at $1,499. If desired, the base Laptop 13 model can be upgraded to a ?Pro? by replacing the corresponding components. |
