Wearable electronics brand Fitbit has released a firmware update for its signature smartwatches and bracelets. The devices have received a number of new features for tracking sports activities, an expanded set of settings and several other improvements. One of the most significant changes was an increase in the accuracy of heart rate measurement in all current models of Fitbit gadgets. This, according to the vendor, also positively affected the monitoring of other indicators, including calorie counting and total active time. In addition, the update adds support for YouTube Music to the Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4 - now the user will be able to control music playback directly from the watch. This feature requires an active YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium subscription.
