After its initial announcement in 2022, Finalmouse has finally brought the Centerpiece keyboard to market and announced the start of sales. Its distinctive features are a built-in processor and a large display located directly under the keys. The main feature of the Finalmouse Centerpiece is a high-resolution under-key display powered by a separate ARM-Cortex processor with Mali-G52 graphics. The 2K panel supports interactive skins on Unreal Engine, videos, static images, and various real-time visual effects. Users can overlay their own overlays, customize the interface, and download skins via the proprietary Freethinker Portal app to the built-in 32 GB storage. The keyboard is based on the proprietary Hall-Effect KeySwitch technology, which provides accurate analog keystroke registration and increased service life. The actuation point is adjustable in 0.1 mm increments, and the Rapid Trigger and SOCD features are designed for demanding gamers who need maximum response speed. According to Finalmouse, the keyboard senses every movement ? as if trying to predict the user's actions. The device has a 65% layout and weighs 1.7 kg. The polling rate is 8 kHz, and the full key travel is 4 mm. It connects via USB Type-C |
