An insider under the nickname Quadro_New has posted a series of images on social network X, which supposedly show a yet-to-be unveiled DJI Osmo Nano action camera. The device has a modular design and allows for hands-free video recording. Judging from the images, the Osmo Nano is equipped with a magnetic mount, allowing you to wear it on your clothes. The device seems to come with an optional module with a screen for previewing footage. There is no official confirmation on this from DJI itself yet. The company already has a camera of this type in its catalog - it is DJI Action 2, released in 2021. At the time of release, it had a number of shortcomings: overheating, poor video quality in low light and lack of waterproofing. Having failed to address these issues, DJI later returned to the traditional action camera design with the Osmo Action 3. The Osmo Nano is rumored to be the brand's second attempt at moving to a new modular form factor, and it could premiere as early as next month. |
