Dell unveils 52-inch 6K UltraSharp monitor with curved screen

At CES 2026, Dell demonstrated an unusual curved monitor with a diagonal of 52 inches. In addition to its enormous size, it is notable for its ability to stream video from four PCs simultaneously. The brand's second new product is a model with an OLEDOLED technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the early 1980s. OLED panels are made from organic (carbon based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied through them. Since OLEDs do not require a backlight and filters (unlike LCD displays), they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner. OLEDs have a great picture quality - brilliant colors, fast response rate and a wide viewing angle. OLEDs can also be used to make OLED lighting - thin, efficient and without any bad metals.matrix on quantum dots.

The Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub is equipped with a 52-inch widescreen IPSIn Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..Black matrix with a resolution of 6K (129 ppi) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The monitor is equipped with a blue light filter and a light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment.

An important feature of the new product is the ability to split the screen into four virtual monitors for working with multiple PCs simultaneously. The monitor is positioned as a solution for traders, engineers, and data professionals. The list of features is rounded out by a Thunderbolt port with 140W output power and a KVM switch. The new product is already available for order in the US at a price of $2,900 with a stand and $2,800 without it.

Another new addition to the company's catalog is the Dell UltraSharp 32 4K model. It is equipped with a 32-inch QD-OLED matrix with 4K resolution and 99% P3 color gamut coverage. The monitor, which supports True Black 500 HDRHDR stands for High Dynamic Range imaging, and it is an old photography practice recently introduced to cameraphones like the iPhone and some Android devices (or with the use of special apps). and Dolby Vision technologies, will go on sale on February 24 at a price of $2,600.
