The Dell monitor family has been expanded with the addition of the budget-friendly 23.8-inch SE2425HG model with a Fast IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..matrix. Its characteristics make it suitable not only for work but also for gaming, while its price is comparable to inexpensive office solutions.
The new model has a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 200 Hz, a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m², and a response time of 1 ms (GtG). In addition, the monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology for improved image smoothness.
Among other features, the brand highlights the model's extended color gamut (99% sRGB) and TÜV Rheinland ComfortView Plus certification for low blue light without distorting other colors.
The included stand allows you to adjust the screen tilt, and HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors are provided for connecting a signal source. The price of the new product in India is $98, and there is no information yet on the availability of the monitor in other countries.
