Cubot has unveiled an intriguing new product. The X100 smartphone stands out for several features: a large display with a high refresh rate, an additional screen on the back panel, and stereo sound. At the same time, the cost of the device does not exceed 20,000 rubles.
The smartphone's main 6.88-inch screen is made using IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..technology, supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and is protected by Gorilla Glass. An additional 1.72-inch display on the back allows you to quickly check notifications, control music, or customize the appearance of the device.
Performance is provided by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, complemented by 8GB of RAM Random Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. (with the possibility of virtual expansion up to 16GB) and 256GB of storage.
The Cubot X100 has a 5100 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The main camera with a resolution of 64 MP is complemented by an ultra-wide-angle and macro lens, while the 16 MP front camera is responsible for selfies and video calls.
Global sales will start on September 15, and the price is $149. Additionally, the promo code CUBOTX100 is available for an extra $10 discount.
