Cubot has announced the KingKong Mini 4, a new compact rugged smartphone that promises to combine a shockproof and waterproof body, a built-in camping light, and a full set of essential features. Ahead of the launch, the manufacturer is running a series of promotional activities.
Despite its compact size, the KingKong Mini 4 meets the strict IP68 IP (or "Ingress Protection") ratings are defined in international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992, European IEC 60509:1989). They are used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc) and moisture. The numbers that follow IP each have a specific meaning. The first indicates the degree of protection (of people) from moving parts, as well as the protection of enclosed equipment from foreign bodies. The second defines the protection level that the enclosure enjoys from various forms of moisture (drips, sprays, submersion etc). /IP69K and MIL-STD-810H protection standards, withstanding immersion in water, drops, and extreme operating conditions. The smartphone is designed for those who need a reliable gadget for travel, work, or sports, but without the usual bulkiness of protected models.
The 4.7-inch screen is made using IPS In Plane Switching (IPS) panels are an expensive option but they have excellent colour accuracy and far greater viewing angles then TN and VA panels (Not that we condone slouching while gaming). They are great for graphics design and photo editing. However, the only downside to IPS panels if that they can sometimes have a slower response time than TN panels. This is the only real problem if you’re a very competitive gamer or want to game in 3D. As of late “IPS” has become a big marketing word. Step into an Apple store and you would be hard pressed talking to someone that didn’t mention Apple’s “brand new IPS Displays!” In fact, Apple is probably one of the biggest marketers of this “new-found” technology. As a business person myself, this is when you have to tip your hat to Apple’s awesome marketing machine. Why? Well, because IPS is actually nothing new. In fact, this technology was originally invented in 1996 by Hitachi..technology with HD+ resolution (720×1600 pixels). Inside, it has an Unisoc T616 octa-core processor, 6 GB of RAM Random Access Memory (RAM) is the place in a computer where the operating system, application programs, and data in current use are kept so that they can be quickly reached by the computers processor. with the possibility of expanding to 20 GB, and 128 GB of built-in storage. It also supports microSD cards up to 1 TB.
The smartphone is equipped with a 48 MP main camera with autofocus and flash, as well as a 16 MP front camera. Cubot promises improved image processing algorithms and optimization for low light conditions.
Other features include a powerful flashlight with strobe function, a side fingerprint scanner, and an NFC Near Field Communication (NFC) is a set of short-range wireless technologies, typically requiring a distance of 4cm or less to initiate a connection. NFC allows you to share small payloads of data between an NFC tag and an Android-powered device, or between two Android-powered devices.module for contactless payments.
The Cubot KingKong Mini 4 is scheduled to go on sale on November 11. To celebrate the launch, the company is running a promotion on its website?five participants will have the opportunity to test the new product before anyone else.
