Corsair has unveiled Xenon Edge, a compact touchscreen display that can be magnetically attached to a PC case or mounted on a stand. The new product is positioned as a ?co-pilot? for the main screen, offering a range of useful auxiliary functions. Corsair Xenon Edge is equipped with a 14.5-inch VA matrix with a resolution of 2560x720 pixels (32:9) and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It can be attached to the system unit thanks to 14 built-in magnets, installed in the case itself using a 360 mm water cooling mount, or attached to an Elgato stand. To connect to a signal source, the device has HDMI and USB-C  With the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors.. connectors with DisplayPort Alt functionality. In both cases, Windows recognizes the new device as a second monitor.The proprietary Corsair iCUE application allows you to display various widgets, chatbot interfaces, and much more, such as controls for the virtual version of Stream Deck. The price of the Corsair Xenon Edge in the US is $249, and there is no information yet on the availability of the new product in other countries. |
