ODM company Compal, which makes electronics for other brands, has unveiled a concept laptop called the Infinite Laptop. It's a 14-inch model with a screen that stretches horizontally to create an 18-inch ultrawide panel. Judging by the official images, the device matrix moves out to the left and right, changing its diagonal and aspect ratio. Another feature of the laptop is the decorative inserts with perforation and LED backlighting on the sides of the cover. The company has already received the IF Design Award for the original design of the device, but has not disclosed its technical characteristics. Compal itself only produces contract products of other brands, so it is possible that the laptop will be presented as a device of one of its partners: for example, Acer, Lenovo, Dell, Toshiba, HP or Fujitsu. However, it is possible that the unusual model will remain a conceptual development, shown in a single copy. |
