The Japanese brand Casio has added another new product to its range. The Edifice Sospensione ECB-2300 watch cannot be called smart in the usual sense of the word, but it does support a number of auxiliary functions that are not available in classic mechanical watches. The new model is housed in a round stainless steel case measuring 50.2 x 45.8 x 10.9 mm and weighing 122 grams. This is a classic model with mechanical hands, but it differs from most of its counterparts in that it has a built-in Bluetooth module with several functions that work in conjunction with a mobile app: The gadget's screen is covered with scratch-resistant sapphire glass. The list of features includes timer, stopwatch, and alarm functions, as well as built-in backlighting, water resistance (up to 10 ATM), and power from a built-in Tough Solar solar panel. The new product is already on sale in Japan at a price of ¥41,800 (about $283). There is no information yet on the availability of the watch in other countries. |
