ASUS has announced the launch of the ROG XG Mobile 2025 external graphics card, which was unveiled at CES 2025. The new product supports the Thunderbolt 5 interface and is available in two versions with GeForce 50 series graphics processors up to the top-of-the-line RTX 5090. Inside the ROG XG Mobile 2025 is a GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or GeForce RTX 5090 laptop graphics card, depending on the configuration, and a 330W power supply. In addition to Thunderbolt 5 ports (up to 140W), the eGPU chassis features DisplayPort 2.1, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and Ethernet ports, as well as a microSD card slot (UHS-II). The new product measures 296 x 208 x 155 mm and weighs 952 grams. For convenient desktop installation, the graphics card comes with a special stand. The price of the ASUS ROG XG Mobile 2025 with GeForce RTX 5070 Ti in the US market is $1299, while the higher-end model with RTX 5090 costs $2499. |
