At Computex 2025, ASUS unveiled a new ROG Strix Ace XG248QSG monitor designed specifically for professional cyber athletes and competitive gaming fans. One of the main features of the model is ultra-low latency and an impressive refresh rate of 610 Hz. At the heart of the novelty is a 24.1-inch 1080p panel with Super TN technology. According to ASUS, this is the fastest TN-panel in the world: input delay is only 0.8 ms - 56% less than other 600-Hertz solutions. And with a minimum response time of 0.1ms, the monitor delivers a virtually instantaneous response to gamers' actions. The monitor also supports Extreme Low Motion Blur 2 (ELMB 2), which is responsible for improved motion clarity. The new system with two LED strips and ten illumination zones can significantly reduce blur and eliminate visual halos. Five levels of ELMB 2 are available to the user, and the maximum brightness is now three times higher than the previous generation of the technology. ASUS claims that the visuals are 65% brighter than similar solutions from competitors. To ensure the smoothest picture possible, the XG248QSG supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility. This helps avoid frame gaps and visual artifacts, especially in games with variable frame rates. The ROG Strix Ace XG248QSG also features ROG Gaming AI technology, a set of AI-based features designed to adapt monitor settings to specific gaming scenarios. Special attention is paid to ergonomics and connectivity. The monitor received a redesigned stand with a reduced base, which frees up more space on the table. Interfaces include DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm headphone output. ASUS ROG Strix ACE XG248QSG price has not yet been announced. |
