ASUS ProArt series of monitors will soon be joined by a new model with PA27UCGE index. It is aimed primarily at creative professionals, but thanks to some specifications it will be suitable for gamers who appreciate high color accuracy. The monitor is equipped with a 27-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, refresh rate up to 160 Hz, maximum brightness of 600 nits and response time of 1 ms (GtG). The color gamut of the matrix is 98% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB, factory calibration (Delta E <1) is declared. In addition, the novelty supports Adaptive-Sync technology to eliminate picture tearing at frequent frame changes. ASUS ProArt PA27UCGE is equipped with a USB hub, DisplayPort, USB Type-C  With the continued success of the USB interface, there exists a need to adapt USB technology to serve newer computing platforms and devices as they trend toward smaller, thinner and lighter form-factors. Many of these newer platforms and devices are reaching a point where existing USB receptacles and plugs are inhibiting innovation, especially given the relatively large size and internal volume constraints of the Standard-A and Standard-B versions of USB connectors.
