ASUS has announced a new Pro WS Platinum series of power supplies with 1600W, 2200W and 3000W models. These units are designed for the most demanding workstations and can power up to four top-of-the-line NVIDIA GeForce GeForce RTX 5090 or RTX Pro 6000 graphics cards. Despite their power, the units are compact at just 175mm in length. They utilize advanced gold-plated contacts to reduce heat up to 10?C. Reliability is complemented by dual ball bearings with up to 80,000 hours of fan life and aluminum heatsinks covering all key components. All models are 80 Plus Platinum certified and utilize Japanese server-grade capacitors. ASUS has also taken care of the convenience: now thoughtful cable management with flexible etched wires and color coding makes it easy to assemble even complex configurations. The power supply board is protected from dust and moisture, and the cables operate at 50?C below critical temperatures. The cables also meet strict standards for fire resistance. This allows the new products to be used in systems that often run under full load, from 3D rendering to AI tasks.
