ASUS has unveiled the RTX 5090 graphics card for BTF builds. Unlike the base models, it is equipped with two additional power connectors: GC-HPWR with a motherboard mount, as well as the infamous 12V-2X6, typical for the brand's series. The removable GC-HPWR connector allows you to connect the Astral GeForce RTX 5090 BTF OC Edition to a compatible motherboard and receive power without additional wires and the risk of melting: as tests show, the contact temperature remains low with this assembly method. If necessary, the GC-HPWR adapter can be removed and power can be supplied through a standard 12V-2X6 port. The new product's specifications include 32 GB of video memory, a graphics chip with a clock speed of 2610 MHz in maximum factory overclocking mode, and 21,760 CUDA cores. The cooling system includes four fans, a phase-change thermal pad, and an evaporation chamber. The price of the video card in Japan is $3,850. |
