Insiders have discovered information about the upcoming Apple Watch Ultra 3 smartwatch in the iOS 26 beta 5 code. The discovery reveals the device's screen specifications, which will see a slight improvement over the current model. According to MacRumors, the smartwatch will feature a screen with a resolution of 422x514 pixels, compared to 410x502 pixels on the current model. This change could affect either the pixel density, which will increase from 335.83 to 344.58 ppi while maintaining the same display size, or the screen diagonal (an increase from 1.92 to 1.98 inches). The increase in screen size may be achieved by increasing the dimensions of the smartwatch case, which will also allow for a more capacious battery. However, as an alternative, the company may simply reduce the thickness of the bezels. According to rumors, the gadget will also support satellite communication, 5G networks, and blood pressure monitoring. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to premiere in September alongside the iPhone 17 smartphones. |
